Tell Your Story & Attract Top Talent with Video

by Bob Stocklin

The NVA Recruiting team is partnering with Skill Scout, a recruitment video production platform, to give our hospitals a chance to create their own short recruiting video. NVA knows that every hospital has its own culture and story, and the best people to tell that story are the team members.

The goal of this project is for each hospital to be able to show candidates what makes their practice unique with an authentic, well-produced video. With a small investment, hospitals will gather a few team members to participate, a smartphone to use for filming, and enthusiasm for the project. NVA and Skill Scout will be providing everything else needed to make it happen, including a project guide, additional equipment, and professional video editing services.

We are still in the pilot phase, gathering feedback from a few hospitals who have participated in our trial phase. Together, we are learning how to ensure participants have everything they need for a smooth video shoot and to deliver the best “insider look” for candidates. Once the pilot phase wraps, we plan on inviting more hospitals to participate in the program. This is a wonderful opportunity for NVA and its hospitals to tell their story and engage jobseekers in a new way.

Here are two videos by NVA hospitals currently piloting the platform:
