The NVA community is home to some of the most talented, hard-working, and compassionate animal care and business professionals in the industry. We recognize that every team member has their own unique career path that can change over time. It’s important to us that if they are seeking new roles and opportunities for professional or personal growth, they can do so within NVA.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce our new Internal Career Platform to support community members on their career journeys.
Currently, the new internal job site enables teammates to research open leadership positions at any location in our community. These positions include Veterinarians, Hospital Managers, and Pet Resort Managers. Plans to advertise openings for support staff are currently under discussion.
Additionally, available positions at the Support Center are only listed when notified by the hiring manager. A new process will soon eliminate this manual effort, but at present, hiring managers can ensure jobs are posted on our internal site by contacting Tricia Dakiyai.
Coupled with a new application process, the platform also assures that all qualified, internal applicants can find the support they need when seeking a career change — whether it’s related to work, culture, family, or personal growth. NVA recruiters are available to help connect each applicant with career opportunities specific to their individual needs. The system also includes an employee referral program that allows other members of our community to recommend colleagues for growth opportunities within NVA.
