New Plan Helps Us Focus On Success

At a Town Hall last year, a request came for clarity on the overall vision, priorities and goals of NVA Compassion-First. In the spirit of working together to support our hospital community, we developed four focus areas to help guide our planning and decision-making in the coming years.

Falling under our vision to be the global partner, employer and provider of choice in the Specialty + ER industry, the focus areas or pillars – jokingly referred to as “The Parthenon” – will remain the same for some time. They are: culture of best medicine, preferred community, world-class infrastructure and marketing-leading growth. The accompanying 12 priorities will evolve annually allowing us to continually grow.

“The focus areas and priorities serve as a tool for reflecting on where we’ve come from, where we are and where we’re going, so we can always be improving,” said Lemar Hight, group president, NVA Compassion-First and NVA Equine.

With these established, the leaders of our functional teams have submitted approximately 50 goals laddering up to the focus areas and priorities. We plan to share the 2022 goals once they’re finalized.
