NVA’s People & Talent Services is pleased to announce additional development opportunities for both our Support Center and hospital teams. Our new Take the Lead Series offers training on business skills, including time management, communication, leadership, and managing projects. The Client Experience series is geared more toward our NVA-CF hospitals searching for specialized training on building an excellent client experience. Take the Lead Series:

Getting the Most Out of Talent Unleashed
Sessions are March 17, June 14, Aug. 12, Oct. 7 (10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST)
Looking to learn more about our Talent Unleashed platform? This is the workshop for you! Our team takes you through the variety of technological resources at your fingertips with one easy login.

Communication Styles
Sessions are March 23, May 5, Sept. 26, Dec. 13 (10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST)
Gain an understanding of how you communicate, how your team members perceive your communication style, and how you can flex into all styles to collaborate with your team most effectively.

Managing Multiple Priorities
Sessions are April 8, June 20, Nov. 3 (10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST)
This workshop is designed to give you various strategies that work effectively with your style for optimum efficiency.

Project Management for the Non-Project Manager
Sessions are Feb. 25, July 7, Aug. 22, Nov. 8 (10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST)
This workshop is to help those looking to align project management with corporate strategy, make use of the available tools and technologies, and build collaborative relationships with teams.

Leading by Nature
Sessions are May 19, Sept. 15, Dec. 2 (10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST)
This micro-learning module provides us with valuable leadership principles and a simple model we can adopt to engage our teams, foster greater employee satisfaction, and create a team that will endure and grow from the inevitable challenges they face.

Client Experience Webinars & Workshops for NVA Compassion-First:

Foundations: Hospitality and Soft Skills for Building an Excellent Client Experience

Sessions are Feb 17, March 17, April 14, May 12, June 16, July 14, Aug. 11, Sept. 15, Oct. 13, Nov. 10, Dec. 15 (3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST)
A few key elements of the session include hospitality, client service, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Journey’s End: Euthanasia Conversations and Pet Loss Bereavement
Sessions are March 1, April 5, May 10, June 7, July 5, Aug. 2, Sept. 6, Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6 (2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST)
This training will help your team build confidence in finding the right words to say and provide “go-to” phrases for supporting the client before and after euthanasia.

Action vs. Reaction: De-escalating Challenging Client Situations
